Pasoucastle is a Newcastle antigen used in the hemagglutination inhibition (HI) test to detect and determine the antibody titer
against Newcastle disease virus V4.
Pasoucastle antigen contains inactivated lentogenic Newcastle disease virus V4. The antigen titer of this biological product at the time of production is at least 1:512 as determined by the hemagglutination (HA) test.
This antigen is used to determine the antibody titer against Newcastle disease virus V4 using the hemagglutination inhibition (HI) test with red blood cells.
Store the antigen refrigerated at 2–8°C.
5 mL vials in lyophilized form.
